We got the TCG/Pew Charitable Trusts National Theatre Artist Residency grant!!! Will wonders never cease? [pause]

Now what?…[I feel like Robert Redford at the end of The Candidate] The enormity of the honor and opportunity is slowly sinking in. As is the enormity of the challenge of the project. It's huge, no matter how you slice it. I'll be forced to think more expansively, push the boundaries of structure as well as content of the piece. Feel daunted by the amount of information I have to synthesize and transform into a theatrical experience. Because now I do have to make the piece. Decided a road trip is in order—Fort Bliss, TX; Huntsville, AL; Cape Kennedy, FL. A field trip to Germany wouldn't be a bad idea either. If all goes well, and this really comes to fruition, I'm looking at the next 3-4 years of my life…Apollo [Parts 1 and 2].
